Flashback: Major General Smedley Butler, USMC – War Is A Racket

Informationclearinghouse Smedley Butler  joined the Marine Corps when the Spanish American War broke out, earned the Brevette Medal during the Boxer Rebellion in China, saw action in Central America, and in France during World War I was promoted to Major General. Smedley Butler served his country for 34 years, yet he spoke against American armed intervention into the affairs of sovereign nations.

He said: “WAR is a racket. It always has been

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives.

A racket is best described, I believe, as something that is not what it seems to the majority of the people. Only a small “inside” group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few, at the expense of the very many. Out of war a few people make huge fortunes.”

Well Done Clare, is great to see other people cutting through the fog in the machinery of the information ministry of high finance for the NZ outpost.

Another Major, explains the systemic cause & effect that is the nature of the war racket here:

Might be worth a post if you follow what has being said. Also should be understood with the fact that ‘consensus democracy’ is not the basis of freedom, & never will be (the protocols of Zion make this clear).

It is voluntary co-operation that gives freedom, and freedom is what gives democratic outcomes.
Monopolized co-operation as the basis is used to give ‘consensus democracy’, in the name of freedom ( I don’t think actual freedom needs to declare itself, it just is & goes about it ) with it’s increasing tyranny to a untouched, un-elected, & usually psychotically disturbed elite at the top of a oppressive heap.

Anyway, good job, your reporting on reality is about the best i’ve found in NZ.

    Hi Nik,
Thanks for the post, but in regards to your Major, he does not point the finger where it needs to be pointed in my opinion – at the elite bankers/the elite.
The reason the documentary Terrorstorm was cited at the bottom of the post, is because it reveals that the bankers fund both sides of a war, because doing so is very profitable for them.

“Americans who are not of the ruling elite or serve as their minions are good for only two things, as consumers and as cannon fodder.” Refer:

  3. Nik says:

    Hi Clare.

You are welcome. I have a similar awareness as yourself, regards the banking string pullers of history, if it’s happening or has happened it’s usually the money power. ‘The first Global Revolution..’ of the club of rome is a succinct acknowledgement that they have funded just about every revolution& ideology elsewhere, & as you know for war, both sides at some point in military build-ups and providing internal govt to those ends.

Major Douglas was more concerned ultimately with un-plugging this tangled machinery from the modern society, and to those ends lays out the structural blueprint and point of entry that powers this recurring pattern itself. It’s extremely fortunate to have this kind of heads up in this area for those who accept it I think.

Identify the mechanism that creates the methodology and then you know how to replace it, for the same methodologies can take a thousand different forms with corresponding numbers of false exhortations in moving the mobs in their directions -this is the territory of the money power & why it wins mostly.

Easy to type up a storm on the internet I know, but to me, the illuminati and the general money power is just as deterministic as their perceived superiority in being able to get away with having societies unwittingly being further and further en-slaved to them. Who ever they are in the time and place, they are no better than the en-slaved under the false tyranny, it is all just reactive functionalisms to an over-riding structure.

How to claim such a power for distribution however when it’s concentrating power monopolizes most aspects of life, particularly in the realms of mob collectivism however dressed up when given the slightest drip-feed at it’s trough, hasn’t been solved yet and maybe that is a pre-condition of the current age at it’s coda. But maybe not.

I think if a culture of non-coerciveness can start to be recognized as a basic sniff test for the validity of whatever unwanted life conditions are being suffered by the society (for example the 9 to 5 tread mill for whose money exactly..), then the edifices of the top elites over human nature, their coercive democracies and unwanted results will start to be seen as having no clothes what so ever. And then, the more aware people like yourself, won’t even have to point.

Well that’s my approach and I won’t pre-empt myself but I may have something you’ll find interesting in this regard in a few months time.
