Anti-War Campaigner: You Have A Duty To Stop Paying Taxes

The tenacious and ardent anti-war campaigner, coverdale_in_japan Chris Coverdale of Make Wars History, is making an appeal to the people of Britain.  He believes that ending Britain’s involvement in war is not only essential, but a realistic possibility, provided Brits act together to tackle the systemic, legal, financial, political and educational problems, in conjunction with the causes of the problem.

He contends that the illegal wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, which have led to the murder of around one million people of whom approximately three-hundred thousand were children, represent the worst atrocity in Britain’s history and the most important issue the country has to face.

Needless to state, this passionate peace activist has a wish list.  Firstly, he wants to ensure that those responsible for these horrendous war crimes,  including former Prime Minister Tony Blair and current Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, are held accountable.  Thus far, and perhaps not surprisingly, he says it’s been difficult to find a judge, police officer or a prosecutor who will enforce the laws of war in the UK.  However, because those in the UK who have the power to do something, have refused to act to bring any case to court for any of the killings that have taken place for six years, this proves that the matter should be dealt with by the International Criminal Court in The Hague.

Coverdale asks that the people of Britain help Make Wars History by doing the following:

1) Report these war crimes to the police.  You have a duty to do so. He advises that you make a copy of the ‘Crime Report’ which cites the evidence of genocide from the link at Make Wars History, and take it with you to your local police station and tell the police the MPs are taking part in genocide.

2)  Engage in a lawful tax rebellion. Do not pay taxes.  He says this is indeed lawful because under the laws of war, it is a criminal offence for taxpayers to contribute to genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity.

3) Educate people about the laws of war.  Tell them it is never lawful to wage a war of aggression. You can find more information related to these laws at Make Wars History.

4) Approach your MP.  It is the MPs’ responsibility to govern the UK and they are responsible for taking the UK to war. If they do not agree with what the government is doing, they have a duty to resign.  Hold them to account for their actions against the Afghan and Iraqi people and get them to stop the killing of innocent children.

Coverdale says if the people of Britain do these four things together as one people, the killing can be stopped.
